Job

As the Senior Medical Science Liasion (MSL) you will serve as the peer scientific expert . You will communicates accurate and applicable science to KOL's and Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) within a geographic area.

Additionally the MSL manages and maintains collegial and professional relationships while building physician advocacy and identifiying and facilitating collaboration opportunities within the company.

The MSL combines strong business acumen and clinical expertise and serves as a peer-to-peer liaison internally and externally.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Support the medical community with up-to-date medical information, robust disease expertise and product information as a peer disease expert.

•Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in the region, manage questions and liaise with headquarters personnel to ensure proper response has been provided and that data is fair and balanced.

•Serve as internal expert in specific therapeutic area demonstrating up-to-date and high level therapeutic expertise. Train staff on key scientific and medical topics in relevant therapeutic area.

•Develop an understanding of the regional medical landscape including specialties involved in care of patients, key diagnostic centers, current treatment patterns, key academic centers and physician expertise

•Support clinical initiatives including site identification, trial recruitment, registry and presentation of final approved data.

•Maintain compliance with all internal and external legal and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

Three plus years in medical affairs role

Robust and current experience in areas relating to drugs in development, recently-launched and marketed biologics/ therapies

Must have well documented physician network and active relationships with KOLs,

Experience in hematology, nephrology, or endocrinology preferred
