You will lead a team of metallurgical specialists responsible for:

• Continually advancing metallurgy and process design capabilities
• Providing process and metallurgy expertise to operating facilities
• Supporting all phases of project delivery
• Overseeing external contractors working on projects
• Projects including conceptual design, pilot testing and detailed design of new plant systems, developing process improvements, providing support for commissioning of new processes and troubleshooting for plant upsets.
• Preparing regulatory license and process description documents and participate on teams evaluating plausible milling scenarios and operational economics for potential property acquisitions worldwide.
• Frequent travel to operating mine sites.

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or Chemical engineering
• At least fifteen years of progressive experience in mill Metallurgical operations, project design or equivalent
• You must be eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
• An advanced degree in Metallurgical or Chemical engineering (considered an asset)
• Exposure to financial evaluations (considered an asset)
