About this role


  • Assist lead engineer with strategic planning of deliverable prioritization/resource utilization to meet milestone submissions on time and within budget
  • Manage Internal communications with lead engineer and Discipline leads
  • Maintain meeting minutes in engineering calls (internal and external)
  • Work directly with the lead engineer to keep track of immediate as well as long term deliverables.
  • Assist with the verification of French to English and English to French translation and work directly with French translation company
  • Technical skill set – P&ID review, process review
  • Facilitate internal design reviews and quality control stage gates
  • Client meetings/client communications
  • Liase between lead engineer and PM
  • Manage client/project team inquiries/issues/RFIs on BIM 360 platform
  • Assist with technical bid evaluations

About you


  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering field – Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical preferred
    • Professional Engineer’s License, or the ability to obtain one within 1 year, preferred but not required. (Ontario and/or Quebec)
  • Five (5) years’ project experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Bilingual – Proficient French/English language skills mandatory
  • Experience with industrial processes and system engineering – direct experience in wastewater treatment, solid waste handling and conveyance, anaerobic digestions, sludge dewatering, RNG and biogas upgrading, chemical or power preferred but not required
  • Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contracts preferred
  • Impeccable planning, organization and time management
  • Clear, concise communication and presentation skills
  • Team player, with the ability to exercise good judgement under changing conditions
  • Familiarity with codes/standards for anaerobic digestion and gas upgrading systems an asset
  • Familiarity with standard requirements for biogas upgrading installations in QC an asset
  • Familiarity with technologies such as conveyors, dewatering systems, gas upgrading, sludge heat exchangers, PVRVs an asset
